• Name, email, phone (for bid/ticket confirmations) 

• Payment details (processed securely via Stripe – we never see full card numbers) 

• Event attendance and bidding history (to prevent fraud and improve recommendations)

We use it for: 

• Charging successful bids & issuing tickets 

• Notifying you if your song wins 

• Paying artists 

• Occasional marketing (opt-out any time)

We never sell your data. We share only with: 

• Stripe (payments) 

• The performing artist/venue (for winner announcements and payouts) 

• Sub-processors bound by GDPR

Retention: bidding data kept 7 years , then deleted. Your rights: access, correction, deletion – just email hello@bidtheband.org.
